I think this is my favorite mash off episode since the series began.. The mash up of Adele's Rumour Has It and Someone Like You was so great.. I loved it, I just loved it..
And it's not just about the mash up either.. This episode showed us that some of these kids have grown - Rachel, giving up her candidacy to support Kurt and Mercedes, having the confidence to vote for herself as leader.
Another epic point is Santana's outing.. Yes, she's bitchy and yes, what Finn said about her is true, but for Finn to blurt all that in a crowded hallway knowing Santana's fears was just, well, it didn't sit right with me.. did Santana bring all these to herself for being mean to everybody, especially Finn? maybe. but did she deserve it? i don't think so.. Believe me when I say that while it's hard for those who are openly gay, it's harder, much harder I think, for those who're trying to hide it all in..
Here's a secret I will share with you because you took the time out to read this post: I've been where Santana is right now.. I didn't struggle with the fear that someone I liked didnt like me, mine was a struggle with the fear of how other people would react.. I think I'll talk more about this in my other blog and when I'm ready to talk about it..
All in all, a great episode.. An awesome episode..
